Media Center

Welcome to the Media Center!

The NES Media Center is open to students from 7:20 a.m. until 2:10 each school day.

Check out

Students in Kindergarten will come to the media center for story time each week.  Kindergarten students may check out one book per visit. Books may be taken home at the discretion of the classroom teacher.

Students in 1st grade may check out two books, and students in 2nd- 5th grades may check out up to three books. Books are checked out for two weeks and may be renewed  if the student needs more time to finishing reading the book.

Overdue Books

Overdue books are not subject to fines, but if a book is 30 or more days overdue, students may be stopped from checking additional materials until overdue items are returned undamaged/renewed or paid for. In place of paying for a lost book students/parents may purchase a hardcover replacement of the lost title or a similar book.
