7:30 am - Students are dismissed to classrooms

7:35 am - Breakfast ends

7:50 am - Tardy bell rings

2:10 pm - Students move to areas for dismissal.

Kindergarten Registration for 2017-2018 School Year

Bulloch County Schools will host Kindergarten Registration for the 2017-2018 school year May 1-5, 2017, at each of our elementary schools.  Parents and guardians may pick up registration packets at Nevils Elementary School during normal office hours (7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.). Parents/Guardians should return completed packets to Nevils Elementary by 3:00 p.m. on May 5. During this time, you may also schedule an appointment for your child to be evaluated.


Only a child's parent or legal guardian may register a child for school. A child being enrolled in kindergarten for the 2017-2018 school year must be five (5) years old by September 1, 2017.


Please Note: If your child is enrolled in a Bulloch County Schools Pre-Kindergarten classroom, he/she does not need to be registered for kindergarten unless he/she will be attending a different school than where he/she attended pre-k

Field Day

NES students will participate in Field Day events on April 28th. Students need to come prepared to run, jump, splash and throw! Proper field day dress will include:

  • Appropriate length shorts
  • NES Field Day T-shirt or your favorite NES shirt
  • Fastest pair of running shoes 

Students may bring:

  • Beach Towel
  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses
  • Hat

Please make sure that your student's name is written on all items that they bring.
